Class size is limited. Send in your application before June 1st to ensure your place for either, or both sessions. Late applications will be considered with a $25 charge. The starting age is eight years old. T-shirt fee is included for each registered student.

Introduction to Sailing

Intermediate / Green Fleet
|
|
For complete novices to sailing. Our intro classes focus on learning the fundamentals of sailing along with parts of the boat, knots, wind direction, and points of sail. Our in depth curriculum helps set a solid foundation for many years to come so your sailor can be confident and competent in any condition.
Opti Race Team
For those that have completed all previous courses and are interested in competing in regattas. This class will fine tune the general skills of sailing to optimize boat movement and sail trim. Introducing tactics and strategy along with boat handling, regatta prep, and sail trim.
Double Handed / Teen Sailing
Available for both beginners and racers alike that are 12yrs old and older. These are 2 person boats with an emphasis on teamwork and boat skills. We offer both advanced sailing along with beginner sailing, please contact us to find out which group your sailor belongs in.
Race Team
For those that have completed all previous courses and are interested in competing in regattas. This class will fine tune the general skills of sailing to optimize boat movement and sail trim. Introducing tactics and strategy along with boat handling, regatta prep, and sail trim. Boats include C420, CFJ, Laser. Advanced sailors only, head coach verification needed.

For those that have completed our Introduction to Sailing course and are looking to go fast on the water. Our intermediate course teaches your sailor how to fine tune their boat and builds on reading wind, conditions and understanding how and why their boat is able to sail. We also introduce racing fundamentals and tactics.
Tera Sailing
Available for everyone that are interested in sailing the RS Tera. These boats are fast and fun, with big sails and a sleek design.
Laser Team
Available for both beginners and racers alike that are 12yrs old and older.The laser is a fast boat with a big sail which requires a lot of physical technique to master. We offer both advanced and beginner groups for the Laser so please contact us to find out which your sailor belongs in.

FOOD AND SNACKS
WE DO HAVE A SNACK BAR THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR LUNCH EVERYDAY. WE DO HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO BRING SNACKS FOR BEFORE AND AFTER LUNCH FOR WHEN YOUR SAILOR GETS HUNGRY, BEING OUT IN THE SUN AND SAILING ALL DAY CAN BE TIRING SO GOOD NUTRITION IS KEY.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE EVERYDAY, THERE IS A FOUNTAIN TO FILL UP WATER BOTTLES ON THE PATIO.
SAILING AND PERSONAL GEAR
WE DO HAVE LIMITED STORAGE SPACE FOR PERSONAL AND SAILING GEAR ON THE DOCK AND PATIO. WE ASK THAT YOU BRING A BACKPACK WITH ALL GEAR NEEDED FOR THE DAY THIS SHOULD INCLUDE:
