For over twenty years, Virginia Howard has been synonymous with the Del Rey Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program. Under her direction, the program has grown from humble beginnings to one of the nation's elite youth sailing programs. In her tenure, Virginia has twice been awarded the PCYA's Garrett Horder Memorial Trophy for best junior sailing program. A Venice local, Virginia also serves as a board member on the Santa Monica Youth Sailing Foundation.
