OPTI RACE TEAM
For those that have completed all previous courses and are interested in competing in regattas. This class will fine tune the general skills of sailing to optimize boat movement and sail trim. Introducing tactics and strategy along with boat handling, regatta prep, and sail trim. Travel around the country competing at local and major events throughout the year. The Opti is the largest fleet in the world for junior sailing, many of its competitors go on to win major championships and Olympic games.
